Grain Markets are Lower on South American Production Estimates
March corn is down 1 3/4 cents per bushel, January soybeans are down 9
cents, March KC wheat is down 5 1/4 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 5 1/4
cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 1 3/4 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is down 1 3/4 cents per bushel,
January soybeans are down 9 cents, March KC wheat is down 5 1/4 cents, March
Chicago wheat is down 5 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 1 3/4
cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed on Wednesday morning, after
another quiet U.S. session in which the Dow once again took small losses while
the S&P and Nasdaq managed small gains. The focus of the market Wednesday will
be on Fed Chairman Powell's last official public comments at an interview
Wednesday afternoon before the "quiet period" ahead of the next Fed meeting
begins.
On Tuesday, the job openings report shows a larger number of job openings
than traders anticipated, which could be another data point that is in favor of
an interest rate cut in December. Wednesday morning, the market will see the
ADP employment report, the ISM services report, and factory orders.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 76.47 at 44,705.53 and the S&P 500 up 2.73 at 6,049.88. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.223%. Early Wednesday, the December Dow Jones
Futures are up 199 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of
London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.45%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading
up 0.8% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.34%. Asian markets
are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.07% and China's Shanghai Composite
Index down 0.42%.
